Amethyst Arrowhead Earrings
Arrowheads come in many different shapes and sizes and were used for a wide variety of tasks. Civilizations around the globe used arrowheads for thousands of years and they made them out of shells, rocks, bone, and even wood. Today arrowheads are collected by folks who are fascinated with our history as a civilization.
In classic Zealandia Designs fashion, these earrings feature our signature spiral designs and granulation on a symbolic sterling silver arrowhead. The arrowhead is decorated with glistening amethyst accent stone and topped with a piece of hand-carved fossilized mammoth ivory. The great mammoths roamed the earth thousands of years ago, eventually becoming extinct. The mammoth lay buried for centuries until erosion brought it to the surface again. This finite material is ideal for heirloom jewelry that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
